A patient with pneumonia that needed intubation and
mechanical ventilation came back to bring the entire ICU team flowers and a
cake as a way to show her gratitude for all the care she received in the ICU. Dr Saunders did all the initial care and intubation, then at the end of the week when we traded off and I came on duty it was the easy part: extubation and recovery. The ICU nurses did a great job of caring for our patient! Thanks to the entire ICU staff!
She even made a little video and gave us permission to share it!
